How we handle the information you share with us through this website.
This notice explains what Skin&Co collects through theskinandco.ca, why, and what choices you have. It covers the website and our enquiry process. Your clinical care is documented separately in your medical record, which is held under Ontario health privacy law and is never kept in our marketing systems.
When you request a consultation we collect your name, phone number, email address, the treatment you are interested in, your preferred contact time and method, whether you have visited before, and any short note you choose to add. Please do not include medical history in that note. We will discuss your skin in person.
We also record how you reached the website, such as the page you landed on and whether you arrived from an advertisement or a search engine, so that we can understand which of our advertising is useful.
We use your details to call or message you about your enquiry, to book and remind you of appointments, and, only if you have agreed, to send you occasional skin care advice and clinic news. Enquiries are held in a customer relationship system used by our front desk and by our marketing partner, MINA Medical Marketing, which acts on our behalf.
We send text messages only if you tick the box on our form or agree by phone, and marketing emails only if you tick the email box. Every marketing message identifies Skin&Co and lets you unsubscribe. Reply STOP to any text, or use the unsubscribe link in any email, and we will stop.
This website may use analytics and advertising tools from Google and Meta to measure visits and the results of our advertising. These tools use cookies or similar technology. They do not receive your medical information. You can limit them through your browser settings and your Google and Meta account settings.
We keep enquiry details for as long as they are needed for the purposes above, and remove them on request unless we are required to keep them.
