Skin tightening, Mississauga
Focused ultrasound that lifts gently from beneath the skin along the jaw, brow and neck. A modest, gradual result, and an honest assessment of whether it suits you.
What it treats
Focused ultrasound that lifts from beneath the skin rather than resurfacing it. Real, modest, gradual, and frequently oversold elsewhere.
The clearest indication, treated before laxity becomes pronounced.
A subtle lift that opens the eye area without touching the eyelid itself.
Modest tightening where laxity is early rather than established.
Treated alongside the neck where appropriate.
Sometimes used to extend the life of previous surgery, in coordination with the surgeon.
How it works
Nothing is treated until it has been examined by a physician led team, and nothing is repeated until it has been reviewed.
The most important step. We establish whether your laxity is early enough for this to help, and tell you plainly if it is not.
The device visualises the tissue layers so energy is delivered to the correct depth rather than blindly.
Forty five to ninety minutes. Uncomfortable in places, described as deep heat pulses. No downtime and you leave looking normal.
At three and six months, since the result builds over that period and cannot be judged earlier.
Who you will see
Skin&Co sits inside a medical dermatology practice in Mississauga, and every plan is set by a physician. Dr. Ejaz is a graduate of the University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine and its Dermatology Residency Program, and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
Her approach is built around subtle, refined results that keep a face recognisably your own, and an honest answer when a treatment is not the right one for you.
When we say no
A consultation sometimes ends with less treatment than you expected, or none. These are the situations where we will tell you so.
Questions
No, and we would rather say so plainly. It produces a modest lift in early laxity. A facelift repositions tissue surgically and the two are not comparable.
There is discomfort, described as deep heat pulses, and it varies by area. It is manageable and brief, and we can adjust as we go.
Three months for first change, six for the full effect. It is the slowest treatment we offer and that is inherent to how it works.
Twelve to eighteen months. It slows the process rather than stopping it, so maintenance is typically every one to two years.
None. Mild redness and some tenderness, but you can go back to normal life immediately.
By being examined. Early laxity responds well, established laxity does not, and that judgement is the reason the consultation exists.
